I was born & raised in Saint Louis, MO. I graduated from University City High School in 1972, where I excelled on the basketball, cross country & track teams. After attending Saint Mary's College in O'Fallon, MO where I received my pre-medical training, I began my chiropractic studies at Logan Chiropractic College in the fall of 1978. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in September of 1981, at which time I relocated to Fort Walton Beach, FL. I became licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of Florida in December of 1981. After working with another Doctor in the area for 6 months I opened my private practice in June of 1982. I have since enjoyed years of practice at my present location. Over the years I have taken many post graduate classes. Specialty classes in Activator Technique, Sacral Occipital Technique, Cox Traction & Neuro-Emotional Technique were taken in various cities around the Untied States. I became certified in Chiropractic Rehabilitation after passing the National Board test in August of 1997. I attained my acupuncture license in Jan of 2006. I enjoy seeing a variety of patients with different spinal, nerve, and muscular conditions. My love for Chiropractic coupled with my desire to treat spinal injuries helps focus my clinic's goals. My experience with acupuncture has brought me great pleasure seeing the incredible results achieved for my patients. Especially since I have been an acupuncture patient myself for a number of years. I am currently training in nutritional testing. This testing is done by performing a muscle reflex test on the patient. The test will tell me what nutritional supplements are needed for the body to function properly. It will also tell me the proper dosage required for that individual patient. This method allows the patient to individualize their nutritional supplementation instead of a "pat" dosage the over the counter label list. I provide the Standard Process supplements in my office. Standard Process is devoted to improving the quality of life by providing the safest, most effective, highest quality dietary supplements through health care profissionals.
