I have been a patient of Dr. Kovar's on two occasions.  Both times I was experiencing severe pain down my left leg and loss of feeling in my left leg.  I think this is usually called Sciatica.  Dr. Kovar did some simple manipulations and prescribed some exercise routines that only take 10-15 minutes per day.  I felt relief the first day and after only two weeks of treatment my back pain was gone.  The second time was a year later with similar complaints, treatment, and results.  Overall the experience was great and the results even better.  Thanks Dr. Kovar!

This summer (2010) I re-injured my back.  I was walking like and "S", a really old and decrepit "S".  I know someone who goes to Dr. Kovar for chiropractic care and highly recommended him.  I am very fearful of chiropractors, but discovered Dr. Kovar does acupuncture.  I made an appointment for a massage with the therapist there, and then another for acupuncture, immediately following the massage.  AMAZING!!!!  I walked out of there a NEW WOMAN, walking upright, some tightness, but no pain.  I scheduled two more appointments over the next few days.  At the end of my third appointment, I was even discomfort free.  I could get in and out of my car, do laundry, grocery shop, and even went to the pool with my children.  It was wonderful!!  I will continue to go to Dr. Kovar for ongoing preventative acupuncture and will also get those amazing massages from Mitzi!!
